Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and passionate Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cannabis products, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers in a professional and approachable manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service | Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide personalized recommendations based on their needs and preferences.

  • Product Knowledge | Stay updated on cannabis products, strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories to educate customers accurately.

  • Sales Transactions | Process sales efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring compliance with state regulations.

  • Compliance | Adhere to all Washington State cannabis laws and Cloud Cannabis policies, including ID verification and proper handling of products.

  • Merchandising | Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and displays.

  • Team Collaboration | Work effectively with team members to provide a seamless customer experience and support overall store operations.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; cannabis industry experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic knowledge of cannabis products and eagerness to learn more.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Washington State Marijuana Worker Permit.
